Case 1: Virtual Coaching, E-module
Sales managers reported that even after a series of large group trainings, much of their sales force still did not apply the learned techniques during their actual sales calls.
An analysis of the work, the worker, and the workplace revealed gaps in transfer from disconnected training. Next Level consultants recognized a need for virtual coaching that provided widely deployable, just-in-time support right at the moment of need. The resulting virtual coaching e-Modules offer opportunities for repeatable realistic scenarios with decision-making and feedback that help members of the sales force integrate techniques and strategies into their sales calls.
Case 2: Instructor Led Training
When a small transportation company began to experience rapid growth the owner had to double his fleet and number of drivers to meet the demand. He worried that his new drivers weren’t following the established procedures on a consistent basis.
A needs assessment by Next Level confirmed the need for training and revealed the need for an employee evaluation plan. After careful analysis, which included ride-alongs, an instructor-led training was designed and developed. The training included lessons on risk management, client care, and operating procedures. The owner was so comfortable with the detailed facilitator and participant guides he decided to deliver the training himself. A subsequent web-based module was also developed to support future growth. Employees were pleased with the performance evaluation plan developed by Next Level, which included an initial employee self-assessment and goal setting discussion with the owner.
