Before Next Level, we were educators—working directly with learners and seeing firsthand that better performance takes more than good content.

Since founding Next Level in 2011, we’ve carried that perspective into corporate, government, nonprofit, healthcare, higher education, and technology environments. Along the way, our work has expanded from designing learning to solving the broader challenges that surround it: performance, implementation, adoption, systems, and change.

The tools have changed. The technology has changed. The workplace has changed.

Our focus hasn’t: understand what people need to perform, then build the right solution around them.

Co-Founder

Robin Freeman Hill

Robin brings a career spanning education, instructional technology, performance consulting, and enterprise learning and development. Her work centers on understanding performance needs and translating them into thoughtful learning strategies, curricula, experiences, and tools that help people perform.

A former classroom educator, Robin brings a deeply practical understanding of how people learn and how thoughtful design can turn learning into capability.

Jerome Hoskins

Jerome works at the intersection of learning, performance, technology, and implementation. His experience spans learning strategy and design, performance consulting, product and system implementation, customer onboarding, facilitation, and the leadership of learning and implementation teams.

A former mathematics educator, Jerome brings a systems-oriented approach to learning—connecting what people need to know with the processes, tools, and environments they need to perform.
